Why my te2200 cant turn on. I try to reprogram but after stuck in IPL, i turn off.. Then cannot turn on back. Please help

Hi Wan,
You should never try to change an IPL if you do not know how to do it correctly. You may have lost all programming and maybe firmware as well. Press the button next to the RS232 sockets under the white tape. If it comes back on, perform a flag clear and try it again.

I have had my Casio TE2400 for about 5 years, I have reprogrammed it a couple of times as we change what we are selling. This time I can not update the time. Put the key in, turn to PGM, shows PO1 on the display, push Clerk 1, push 1 and Sub Total, shows 0.00, doesn't show the date, acts like a transition. Also when I try to download from computer the till screen is lit but goes blank and I get error 4506.
Any ideas please

Hi Trevor,
When you see P01, it is ready for date to be set. Don't press 1 subtotal again. Just set date.
I'm not sure about the error. That will depend upon the version of software. Usually it is caused by leaving the machine in a transaction while trying to communicate. Try doing a no sale so the drawer opens, close drawer, then try sending from software with key still in REG mode.

I have reset my te-2200, now i have CO1 P1 0.00i try to set date and nothing happens, i have been fighting this machine for 2 weeks. It is brand new, owner tried to set it up but not sure what he did so i cleared machine and put in my init code via dealers manual. That seems to have went well but now i cant go any further?? Someone help!

Hi Doc,
Someone has programmed the reg message to show =w by the sounds of it. You should find it makes no difference to operation since it is only a label. If it annoys you, use the codes in the dealer manual along with the text character layout page to change it.

Hi , how do I change the tax rates in my CASIO TE 2400 . If the current tax rate is 0% , how do I put in as 0% GST RATE ?

Hi Howard,
Use the codes for tax rate setting to change the rate. You wouldn't normally set a rate of 0%. If you want to remove a tax, just unlink that tax from a PLU and then it won't be added or printed. I have programmed all my department/flat PLU keys on my TE-2400 most of them will allow you to push multiple times for purchasing the same thing but I have a couple keys that will not allow me to repeat without subtotaling between each one.

As per my message yesterday, I figured it out. It was a condiment program and I was able to remove and it works fine now.

What Characters do I need to enter, say for instance I would like to change the DEPT17 to BREAD, what is the right programming code.

Hola,
Para imprimir un informe, gire la llave al modo X1 / Z1 y presione efectivo. Sin embargo, esto generalmente restablecerá el informe diario. Si no desea restablecer sus cifras, es mejor mirar hacia atrás en el papel de diario (impresora de la derecha)
