Ok, no yearly totals. What about to just reset all from factory settings. We are learning as we go, it might be easier to just start from factory settings. Thank you.
C-tech wrote on 07/22/2015 @ 06:14:37 pm
Hi Zapata,
Just reset the daily total (Z1) each day and reset the Z2 report each year to use it as a yearly report. The Z2 will start from the first time you reset it. Just ignore the first report it prints as it has not been reset previously. From that time onwards, it will be correct. The reset codes for reports are in the manual under the reports section

We bought this register and it came with a manual but we cannot figure out if the machine can print out a duplicate receipt.
C-tech wrote on 02/23/2016 @ 03:07:44 pm
Hi Jay,
No it can't print a duplicate. It doesn't have enough memory. If you need an extra copy of your sales, try printing the electronic journal (EJ)

Hi Sherina,
Make sure you have the shiny side of the paper towards the front of the machine. Also make sure the paper is the correct width (57mm for this model)

Hi Tech,
It sounds like your keysheet has not been printed as the keyboard has been set. To fully reset (and wipe all data, just take out batteries. Turn key to REG. Unplug machine for 5 minutes. Plug it in. Refit the batteries. The keyboard will now be in the original layout. Now reprogram it for your shop using the init codes in your manual.

Near the paper rolls in the printer compartment. 3x AA batteries under a small cover.

Hi,
Is there another way to reset all data, because its not working so far.

I've never seen it hold memory any other way. Try leaving it unplugged from power and batteries removed for a few hours. If it still has trouble when you plug in, it will need to be taken to a dealer to be tested for faults.

I have a used PCR-T2000. Can the Z tape counter number be reset to 0? Please contact me at bigdavedx209@gmail.com. Thanks

Hi Dave,
Resetting report counters can facilitate fraud. If you need to do this, print out the programming. RAM clear (init) the machine to clear all data, then enter all programming again from your print outs. The counters will reset (including the grand total). If you don't want to go to that trouble, just reset the Z report each day and the net total will show your sales

How do I reset the Z report each day?
C-tech wrote on 10/09/2018 @ 06:39:03 pm
Hi Dave,
Turn the key to Z mode and press cash. It will print the daily report and reset the totals.
Ignore the figures on the first report since they will be the previous owners ones. The next report will be correct. Use net total (sometimes NT) as your sales figure. Also will show amount of refunds and other functions during that day. Any totals which are zero for that day may not be printed that day (to save paper)

the screen on my PCR-T2000 keeps flashing ( 0 ----) what does that mean. I cant get the register to do anything. Please help......
C-tech wrote on 10/21/2018 @ 09:16:40 pm
Hi Mandy,
It probably needs the time set. If you can't perform numeric entries to set the time, it might need to be serviced as it may have a fault.

Hi anees,
Try performaing a flag clear (instructions in your manual) before programming it.
If that doesn't work, you may need to log a clerk on before you can change programming back.
Try 1 CLK# to sign on if you can't change programming.

Hi anees,
If it is not in your book, just look up casio flag clear on the net. It is normally the same for most models. Just make sure you use the receipt feed button and not journal feed when you do it.

Hi Jello,
If you can't get buttons to register anything, you probably have a faulty keyboard. You should be able to use the keyboard for programming straight after an init procedure

Hi Mon,
Were the batteries replaced on time? It sounds like you lost your programming
