Frequently Asked Questions

• What browsers have been tested and work -
     So far: IE7, IE8, FF6.3+, Chrome4+, Opera10+.
     We recommend using Internet Explorer 8 or FireFox.

• The text isn't centered -
     If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or 9, turn off Compatibility mode:
     Click the 'Page' menu, and UnTick 'Compatibility View'.
     If you are still having trouble, we recommend you try a different browser such as FireFox.

• I can't print colors -
     Make sure 'Print Background Colours' is ticked in the print window or
     Try saving the picture instead, then you can print any time.
     Read the INSTRUCTIONS on how to save the screen as a picture.

• When I print, the key-sheet is not the right size -
     1) If you are printing directly from your web browser:
         Read the INSTRUCTIONS on how to print from a browser.
     2) If you are printing from the screen, clipboard or desktop:
         Make sure your browser is set to 100% zoom, and your print settings have
         'shrink to fit' UnTicked.

• Nothing happens when I click 'Start the Keysheet Creator' -
     You probably have javascript disabled, or are restricted by the company you're working for,
     or have the browser Security Level set too high.
     Enable javaScript, or try using a different browser, or try from a different location. We recommend FireFox.

• The 'Model' menu does not work -
     You probably have javascript disabled, or are restricted by the company you're working for,

• Can't snip with Microsoft VISTA or Windows 7 -
     Just use the print screen function like this:
     Hold down the Control key (Ctrl), and tap the Print Screen key (Prt Scr), let go.
     Type Paint into the Start menu, hit enter.
     Click Paste.
     Using the mouse, click and drag to select the area of the key-sheet you wish to keep.
     Click Crop.
     Click the small Disk Icon at the top to save. (The PNG format is the best for quality)

• The screen jumps or moves around -
     Click and drag the Color Panel to the middle of the window.

• Uploading sends the file without an error, but doesn't effect change on the key-sheet or screen.
     Your saved file maybe corrupt, please email it to us if you wish to recover your data.

• My key-sheet disapeared -
     You need to 'Save' if you wish to keep a copy on your computer.

• Is the 'Save' button safe and virus free -
     Absolutely, infact it is freshly created for you the moment you click the 'Save' button.
     It contains only simple text words describing your key-sheet.
     It is not a picture and will only work at THE-CHECKOUT-TECH.COM.

• The 'Clear' button doesn't work -
     After clicking the 'Clear' button, wait 2 seconds then hit the F5 key.

• The 'Instructions' or 'FAQ' button doesn't work -
     It maybe that these windows are already open, check your open windows and tabs.

• The clipped or saved picture of the keysheet is low quality -
     When saving your picture, don't save in JPG format, use PNG.

• Why can't I print my ksf file? -
     The ksf file is only for uploading at a later time, follow the instructions on how to print.
