I am suddenly unable to take a Z report - error message 'not allowed with open clerks'
I cannot locate any open clerks or tables (have been through all employee and table numbers)
We have recently used training mode for the first time - could this be the source of the problem?
X1 report functions normally

That's an interesting one. Normally it would be an employee linked to an open table, so do a 39 report to see what is open.
Otherwise, it can be an interrupted clerk. try a 60 report and a 13 report.
I haven't used training mode. I try to aviod it as I cannot demonstrate reports with training mode. It is good for training operators who do not have manager authrity though. try turning on the training clerk again, then perform a NO SALE function and sign back off.

Hmm. As a last resort, I'd try logging on each clerk and pressing CASH to see if any are not finalised. Then open each table/ guest and press CASH to see if there is a balance outstanding that is not getting picked up in the reports. other than that, I'd have to see the problem and have a play around because I've never had any other reason for this sort of error. Best to consult a dealer if you can't sort it. Most will help you over the phone with a problem like this.
