Hi all Im getting an error code 6-3 on my ER-2595 No keys work just shows the 6-3 on the main screen... Any Ideas? :o

Are you sure it is an error code? It is unusual to have a "-" between the numbers. This is usually time display.
If you press clear (CL), does it go away? If you press the numeric buttons, can you see numbers on the display?
I would say it sounds like it might have a faulty or flat battery. Has it been turned off for a while?

Good thinking it has been turned off for well a few years... I didnt know it had a battery:) Where would I find it?

Well I got the Recipt printer to make noise and the 6-3 is gone... now it says E 6 over to the far left of the screen :) Looking better anyway something different

If it has been off for that long, the memory backup battery will be completely stuffed, so it will need changing, then the machine will need a full reset. You will see all sorts of errors because the memory is full of rubbish at the moment.
The battery will be an internal rechargeable one (some had AA batteries under the paper rolls but I think this model will have an internal one).
You will also need a service key. This key can turn past the program mode to where there is nothing written.
A dealer or technician will need to solder the new battery in, then you use the service key to memory clear it.
If you don't feel confident, take it in to a dealer.
