E32 means no clerk (operator) logged on.
You need to tell the machine who is using the machine.
Some models have clerk or cashier buttons next to the key. Make sure one of them is pressed down. Otherwise, you need to use a PIN number. If you don't know it, try the default. Press 1 then press CLERK or CLK# or CASH#
