To Set The Tax Rate

Turn key to PGM mode
Press 3
Press Sub Total
'P3' should appear in the display
Type 0125
Press Sub Total
Type the new rate e.g 8.75 (use the decimal point button)
Press CASH (ca/amt tend)
Type 5002
Press CASH
Sub Total to finish
Turn key back to REG mode



If you need to change the tax/ non tax status of some of your items (departments)

Turn key to PGM mode
Press 1
Press Sub Total
'P1' should appear in the display

To set departments as taxed
Press RA/T/S1
Press all the departments that you want taxed
To set departments as non-taxed
Press CHK/NS
Press all the departments that you want non-taxed

Press Sub Total to finish

Turn the key back to REG mode.
