| Post subject: | Casio TE-2200 Drawer wont open |
I have a secondhand cash register which has been reprogrammed to manufacturers settings but now the drawer will NOT open when a transaction is finalised, think its a coding problem but dont know how/what to do as new to do. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it as been stuck a week now on it. It functioned perfectly before the reprogramming so I dont think it could be a hardware problem. Thanks |

The manufacturers default settings are such that the drawer will open on all finalising buttons (cash, check, etc). If not, then it has probably had one of the machine features set differently than standard. The first thing to check is whether the drawer opens if you turn the key to X mode and press CASH button. this is handled separately from the register setting for the drawer. Try that first and let me know if the drawer opens as the report prints. |
