Hi,
I am pretty handy with the programming of the TK1550. However, I use 3 tax rates, but cannot figure out how to get tx3 and ta3 to print on the x/z reports.

Thanks in advance for any help.

TJ.

There isn't normally a setting to turn them off. Make sure you are selling a product linked to tax3 for that day or it will not print.
To double check, sell an item with a tax 3 link. Print a receipt and make sure tax3 prints on the receipt. Lastly, print a report and see if it still does not print.

Thanks for the reply.

Did a sale, receipt shows T3 under item. (it is a tax free sale, so no tax was applied)

Printed an X, and the TA3/TX3 does not print.

That sounds like it might be the problem. The Z report will normally skip zero balances. If you don't have a value for that day, it shouldn't print. It saves paper.
Do your other two taxes show a zero amount on the report?

Hi,
Tax 1 is 8.7%
Tax 2 is 0%(non-tax food items)
Tax 3 is 0%(non-tax prepaid card sales)

Z report shows all numbers under TA1/TX1, TA2/TX2 (even if no sales), but won't show TA3/TX3 even when there is a sale.

We had a TK1550 thru a credit card company once (no longer), and it showed TA3/TX3 as well as the other two.

I am stumped.

Hmm, ok. Firstly, I'd check the tax status of tax 3.
Turn key to PGM and press 3 then press subtotal twice.
It will print out a programming list.
Look down the list until you see the taxes.
Make sure the tax 2 setting is the same as tax 3 (especially the 5000 number e.g 5003)

Hi,
Sorry this reply took so long. Our busy season, ya' know.

I printed the programming report, and only tax1 and tax2 showed up. Cool, I said, and reprogrammed tax3.

Did a transaction, and still nothing.

I am stumped.
