I try to open the cover today..
It was very difficulty to take it off...
I only lift about front part up ( keypad) and it stuck..
I am worry to damage the cable/mainboard...
Any tips to lift whole cover up?
My technician ask $190 for coming out to replace the battery...
ripe off.... :(

Remove the three screws. Pull the flap down at the front. Slide the top section forward and lift. It may have a black wire which is ground. You can remove it and just note where it clips back on. Then you should be able to lay the top section over to the right with the wires still connected. You can do all of this with the power off because the battery is still connected. If one of the white cables comes out, it isn't a problem. Just find a way to lay the top section over then plug the white cables back in. Once you find a good position to lay the top over and make sure the white cables are connected (black one doesn't matter, just make sure it is out of the way), turn the machine on and make sure the display lights up. now you can unplug the battery and connect the new one. It only needs power on at the time you pull the battery connector off.
