i have an SL-59-30 scale, scale doesnt zero out. all it does is blinking 8's. is there an adjustment or a calibration thaT CAN BE PERFORMED to get it working again

This sort of problem is normally caused by either overloading, fault in the A/D converter circuit, or faulty load cell. It is rare for a setting to cause this problem as the scale has a zero tracking range that allows for a small amount of variation while still being able to zero itself. It is best to have the machine checked for problems in the converter circuit. We don't have any calibration information for this model as it is in the service notes. You would need to obtain this from a TEC dealer.
